Get Picked up from Your Accommodation, then follow to the pier of Santa Maria, in a diving boat you will be taken to a coral reef where you will start the approximately 45 minutes snorkeling in the Santa Maria bay where you can explore the Local sea creatures the corals and one of the shipwrecks. Cape Verde was recently considered as one of the ten most important “hotspot” of the world's marine biodiversity. This is due to the large number of marine species that exist exclusively in the archipelago, marine endemism. Its mild climate throughout the year, the temperature of the sea waters, the warmth of its people, its geographical situation close to Europe, the proximity of the tropical belt and islands that serve as areas for stopping, feeding and reproducing many species migrations make Cape Verde a unique place in the world for the development of Ecotourism.
