DETAILED TOUR DESCRIPTION

Get picked up from your accommodation and started to discover the highlights, the history, and the daily life of locals. The route starts at Ponta Preta, the most beautiful beach on the island where in February the windsurf championships are held. Your tour follows the natural bay of Murdeira, which is also the mating place of the loggerhead turtles from June till October, and where you can enjoy the beautiful views of lion mountain.

After that, you will discover Palmeira, the main port of the island with all its colorful houses and local fishermen. Continuing the visit, you will explore the natural swimming pools in Burracona and visit the “Blue Eye" (one of the 7 wonders of the country). Then, drive to Terra Boa, where you can see the mirage, the volcano crater of Pedra de Lume with possible entrance to float in the world's second most salty water. The tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation.
